The American Bigfoot Society is currently seeking members from across the country. We are currently accepting members for two fields of service.

Field Operations - This branch is for those who wish to be active field researchers or investigators. They are responsible for investigating sighting reports and engaging in group field activities.

Field Support Services - This branch is for the "armchair researcher". These folks will collect historical data on sightings and location, assist in information gathering on investigations, and supply information to the field teams.

American Bigfoot Society Membership Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the American Bigfoot Society. Please take a moment and fill out the membership application. Please allow 24 to 48 hours, someone from the American Bigfoot Society Board of Directors will be in contact with you to discuss your application. Please be as detailed as possible. If you do not wish to answer these questions - please type "PASS" in the box.

Also, please watch your spam folder of the email account you submitted with your application for any emails from a member of the Board of Directors.

Levels of Membership:

Active membership allows you to join any expeditions, outings, or any functions the ABS holds. You will also be given the password for members only forum (SearchforBigfoot.org), and updated on the latest ABS news and reports through the ABS email list.

Associate membership allows for information to be shared with a member, however will need to pay additional fees to attend any functions. Most associate members are members in name only and may not vote or partake in any group voting, elections, or activities the ABS holds. This membership is ideal for who may not able to participate as an active member.

All new members will be placed on a probationary period. If new members remain active, new members will obtain voting rights and the right to run for a position in the group. Dues must be paid in full to become a member of the American Bigfoot Society. Before any applications are approved or denied, interested persons must participate in a phone interview for us to get to know the interested person. Once we know who the person is, we will make a decision to approve or deny an active membership.
